Great hotel for the money...you will walk to almost everything though with the closest Metro station a little less than a mile away. It is in the "locals" part of town near the university. Wonderful gelato nearby! Staff was very good!
It is close to all the interesting sites in the city. Also the breakfast was of a good quality and btw, a very nice terrace.
Rooms smelled like cigarettes - Personnel said that the reason was that the previous passenger was a smoker and they can do nothing to fix the problem. Also, the receptionist told us that there was only place to have dinner close to the hotel and gave us a business card to get there and explained also how to go. When we walked a bit, we found that there were plenty of restaurants all over the block. It seems that it usually happens in Italy that receptionists used to recommend certain restaurants, and my opinion is that they might get a commission or benefit for that. In any case, this specific receptionist was ready to lie in order to get his commission.
Good location, metro to get to the main sights was approx 10 min walk. The room was clean and comfortable, Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. Excellent continental buffet breakfast with ample choice.
Rooms weren't soundproof.
the hotel was in perfect location for good and cheap restaurnts in rome
The location is good, not far from "Bologna" underground station.
Breakfast is poor, far from standards expected by a 4-star hotel.
Clean sheets and towels and good breakfast.
If you open the windows for fresh air it becomes very noisy in the morning.
The staff was helpful, the room was clean and big enough.
The carpets outside the room were dirty and worn out.
Great room, staff, location and breakfast. Perfect hotel for couples.
The hotel is only 3 stops away from the termini train station by metro, and 10 mins walk to the hotel after getting off at Bologna Station. The breakfast is nice.
The stuff there are nice but their English is quite poor. We felt sorry for some staff because the hotel seems to run with a skeleton crew, employing the bare minimum of staff. Hence the reception staff and porter were always very busy. The internet connection is not reliable, and it is irritating when it goes down every 5 minutes. In our opinion, this is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe 3 star, maximum.
everything is better than I expected. metro station nearby is convenient to go major tourism point. supermarket and good pizzeria are located on the way to station.
breakfast is a little bit poor with considering 4stars grade hotel, but we shouldnt wish a lot for continental breakfast.
The staff were very nice, friendly and responsible. The breakfast was very good with good and decent choices to select with. Economic due to the proximity to Bologna metro and bus stops to termini which is not far from the hotel. Luggage room available which you can use for keeping luggage after check out to match your return trip itinerary. Good cleaning services and clean, spacious bath with sufficient supply of toiletries. There are restaurants (Italian & Chinese) and pizzerias nearby the hotel open till midnight with tasty dishes and economic too. Comfortable room with a nice bed for a good sleep after a tiring day full of walks through the Rome!
The staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and the bar fridge was very reasonable. I love the area it was in only 5min walk to the metro. Lovely cafe on the corner to stop and have a wine or coffee and they give you lots of nibbles to go with it at no charge.Saves you money. The hotel is not over fancy but very clean. And I would stay there again.
Nice, clean and tidy rooms, good location close to the Bologna tube station, perfect breakfast. I'd recommed everyone to stay in this hotel, very good quality for reasonable price.
Very good rooms except as detailed below. Very clean foyer and communal areas. Only a few hundred metres from the metro giving easy access to the whole city. The breakfast room on the 6th floor gives good views and the breakfast gives a good choice of cereals,fruit,toast,cheese/ham, but not cooked food.
The room I stayed for nights 2to4 was on the ground floor with no window and no tea/coffee making which the other rooms had. Also no bath just a shower. This is I believe supposed to be the disabled access room. If you take a car, there is no onsite parking. Roadside parking is available but is hard to find a space and is metered. A private parking garage is available a few doors away but charges 15eur for overnight parking.
Good price, easy to get into Rome city centre via Metro, staff were friendly, free WIFI
Our bathroom smelt mouldy
